San Jose del Monte, Bulacan – On December 12, 2023, Radyo Kalusugan returned to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, following a successful mission earlier in the year, to extend vital healthcare services to the community. Approximately 700 individuals, including children, the elderly, and those with limited access to medical care, benefited from this initiative.
The medical mission provided complimentary medicines and check-ups, facilitated by a dedicated team of top-tier doctors, nurses, and volunteers who selflessly served without expectation of return. These free medical missions are crucial in enhancing community health, particularly in underserved areas. They offer essential healthcare services to populations lacking adequate medical access due to factors like poverty, geographical isolation, or insufficient healthcare infrastructure. By offering free consultations, treatments, and preventive care, these missions address immediate health concerns and promote long-term well-being. Moreover, they foster community engagement by involving medical professionals and volunteers, enhancing cultural competence, and strengthening community bonds.
