TCL brings TV, gaming and audio together in new entertainment lineup

The way people experience entertainment at home is changing. A movie can lead to a gaming session, which can eventually turn into a night of music with friends, making the traditional television screen only one part of a much bigger experience.
TCL Philippines leaned into that shift with “The Mastermind of Experiences,” an immersive launch event that introduced the TCL C7L SQD Mini LED TV together with the G64 and G54 gaming monitors and the TP300K and TP200K Party Speakers.
Held at Nokal in Makati Central Square, the event brought together members of the media, influencers and content creators for an evening that combined product demonstrations with games, music and interactive activities. Rather than holding a conventional presentation centered on specifications, TCL created three experience zones that allowed guests to explore its latest television, gaming and audio offerings.
TCL Deputy Marketing Director Shae Yu Xiao Ling said the format reflected the company’s view of how entertainment has evolved.
“Entertainment has changed. In one evening, we may watch a movie, play a game, and later enjoy music with friends. Entertainment is no longer about only one screen or one device. For us, today’s entertainment can be described in three simple words: Watch, Play and Feel. We watch content, we play games, and we feel the energy through sound and music. That’s why tonight we brought together TV, Monitor and Audio,” Xiao Ling said.
A new C7L viewing experience
At the center of the lineup is the TCL C7L, which features the company’s next-generation SQD Mini LED platform.
The technology is designed to enhance picture quality through improved control of brightness, color and contrast. TCL’s Philippine C7L lineup is available in 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch sizes, with features including up to 100% BT.2020 all-scenes wide color gamut, up to 800 precise dimming zones and up to HDR 2,700 nits, depending on model.
The C7L also incorporates TCL’s HVA 2.0 Pro Panel, TSR AiPQ Processor and Game Master features, extending its use beyond conventional movie and television viewing into gaming.
For Xiao Ling, the development reflects how televisions have become more versatile in the home.
“TVs are not only for movies and shows. We also use them for sports and gaming. So a great big-screen experience needs a great picture, smooth motion and great sound. This is where SQD-Mini LED comes in. We can talk about color, contrast and brightness, but the idea is simple: See More, Feel Closer. Great technology should help you forget the screen and simply enjoy the content,” she said.
At the C7L TV Zone, guests were given a closer look at how SQD Mini LED technology is designed to enhance home viewing. The demonstration was part of TCL’s effort to make the launch experiential rather than purely specification-driven.
Bringing TCL to the gaming desk
The entertainment lineup extends into gaming through the TCL G64 and G54 monitors.
The G64 features a 300Hz refresh rate, while the G54 is equipped with Precise Dimming Series, a 144Hz native refresh rate and 450 nits peak brightness. The G54’s Mini LED display is designed to serve not only gaming but also entertainment and everyday productivity.
The monitors represent TCL’s move to bring its display expertise beyond the living room and into gaming setups.
“More entertainment is moving from the living room to the gaming desk. When we watch TV, we are viewers. When we start gaming, we become players. So the screen needs not only a great picture, but also speed and smooth performance. That’s why TCL is bringing our display technology from the big screen to the gaming desk,” Xiao Ling said.
The G64’s 300Hz ultra-high refresh rate is designed for smooth gaming performance, while the G54 combines Mini LED display technology with a 144Hz refresh rate and 450-nit peak brightness.
From screen to sound
TCL’s latest expansion also reaches audio with the TP200K and TP300K Party Speakers.
The TP200K delivers up to 220 watts of maximum audio power, features five dynamic light show presets and offers up to 12 hours of playtime. The larger TP300K provides up to 340 watts of maximum audio power, eight dynamic light show presets and up to 18 hours of playtime.
The products were showcased through an interactive Party Speaker Zone, where the speakers became part of the event’s social atmosphere.
“The third word is Feel. Entertainment is not only about what we see. It’s also about what we hear and feel. Sometimes, the moment the music starts, the whole energy of the room changes. That’s why we also brought our Party Speakers tonight. They are not just speakers — they are part of the entertainment experience,” Xiao Ling said.
The speakers later powered the event’s after-party, giving guests the opportunity to experience the audio products in a social setting rather than simply viewing them on display.
Technology meets play
The launch’s entertainment theme continued through The Mastermind Game, an interactive trivia competition involving seven teams of media guests and key opinion leaders.
The competition tested participants on TCL technology, pop culture, current events and trending topics. It was followed by quick-fire challenges involving game identification, music and TikTok dance routines, with TCL prizes awarded to participants.
For TCL Brand Manager Joseph Cernitchez, the format was intended to make the products part of an experience rather than simply objects on display.
“We designed the C7L Game Night to showcase how TCL continues to be the mastermind of entertainment experiences. Beyond the technology and specifications, we wanted our guests to experience the C7L through gaming, entertainment, and meaningful moments. It was about bringing the product to life and showing how TCL creates experiences that people can truly enjoy,” Cernitchez said.
The event also marked a milestone for TCL in the Philippine market. Cernitchez said TCL has been the No. 1 panel TV brand in the Philippines in both value and volume for the past three years. He credited media, key opinion leaders, content creators and partners for being part of the company’s journey in the country.
Beyond the Philippine market, TCL Electronics operates in more than 160 markets worldwide and specializes in the research, development and manufacturing of consumer electronics, including televisions, audio products and smart home appliances. The company was founded in 1981.
With the C7L, G64 and G54 monitors, and TP200K and TP300K Party Speakers, TCL is building an entertainment lineup that covers different moments of the home experience, from watching and gaming to listening and socializing.
